Steve found his way to the bowl as a post retirement job starting by working in the bowl parking lot. Now 12 years later, he is known as our valued and trusted mechanic. His role here at the bowl is vital as he makes sure that the machines are up and running and that no issues are prominent.
I am the mechanic for the bowl. I ensure the lanes stay clean and the machines stay running properly. If there was a backbone to the bowl, that would be me! It is my job to keep things going - making sure everything is working properly day in and day out.
I have been working at the bowl for about 12 years now. After retiring, I decided I wanted to pick up work again and that is when I applied to the bowl. I started working in the bowl parking lot, then moved inside where I worked at the front desk and now here I am as the bowl mechanic!
When it comes to my favorite part of working at the bowl, there are a few aspects that come to mind. I do truly enjoy working on the machines, but I also like interacting with the bowlers and of course our amazing staff.
Tennessee Whiskey by Chris Stapleton and Under Pressure by Queen and David Bowie are definitely my favorite songs when I am singing at Coasters.
