Duckpin alleys re-appeared in a section of the Casino building.

1958

A group of local businessmen opened a 14-lane alley, lounge, and restaurant on Cliff Street called Surf Bowl.

1960
Surf Bowl expanded to 26 lanes.

The Tosello family purchased Surf Bowl, further updating it with the latest bowling equipment and technology.

1994

George Tosello sold Surf Bowl to the Santa Cruz Seaside Company, owner and operator of the Beach Boardwalk.

1996
Atomic Bowling was introduced, using black lights, music, and a light show to energize a new bowling experience.

After an extensive renovation of Surf Bowl in 2001, Boardwalk Bowl opened to the public and has been providing family fun ever since!
