I started bowling in 2006. Outside of beer, it’s probably the cheapest way to hang out with friends without being required to do a lot of moving around. You get up, walk a few feet, throw a ball, come back, have a conversation with your friends and you do that for about three hours.
When I shot the front ten. I was about 20 years old and bowling in a league in Irvine. I didn’t have my own equipment. I didn’t really know how to control the ball. Whatever I was doing that day, I was just in "the" zone. I was averaging 160, if I was lucky. I didn’t even think about it, it was so effortless.

It’s convenient, it’s really close by. In the winter time it’s open and has great food, everyone knows where it is and it's easy to get to. In the summer you can bowl and then go to the Beach Boardwalk and then come back and bowl again later!
