Joanie and I first started bowling September 4, 2015. We had friends who had been trying to get us to bowl for year and years. So we decided to come down here and see what it was all about. You are bringing me luck! It’s just like having another family. It’s such a people game. And we become united, and the name of our team is “Seniors United.” We’ve been able to meet other people in our age group.
When we first started bowling, my favorite memory was bowling seven gutter balls the first time I joined the league my first game I threw 7 gutter balls, and after the the seventh one I never threw another gutter ball. People were all over me saying, “David, the gutters have been cleaned, you don’t have to keep cleaning them.”
The people that we’ve met here, Willy, we bought our balls and shoes and everything from him. Dave, and all the associates who work for him, they are all so accommodating and so nice. I can’t say enough about what we have missed all those years of not bowling.

The people. The people from the bowlers to the head office and everyone in between. You just feel comfortable here. And we just feel like a couple of young kids, in our youth. When you bowl, you forget your age. We could be here all day long and talking to you about bowling.
