I started bowling when I was five. I bowled until I was 13, then I took a 20-year break, bowled for one season, took another 20-year break, and now I’m back at it. I started back about two months ago. My dad was very much into it when I was growing up. He wanted me to be in the PBA. I ended up taking a different route, I got into running and track and a bunch of other sports, but I didn’t follow through with the bowling thing. But my dad was very much into it and I enjoyed it. Anything that you do that’s really good, you grow accustomed to, you like.
I was on a league around 1995. I joined a team a few weeks into the season. They were dead last. And we ended up moving all the way up and we won the entire league. It was intense but it was very, very good.

It’s a tight community. Very, very cool place. It’s close to home. It’s got a fun bar, great camaraderie. Great people and all the guys who work here, the pro staff, Dave, they are all super gentlemen.
